Our wedding location is in a tiny village called Ruurlo. It is in a beautiful area full of woods so certainly you can go for a walk and enjoy the surroundings, but it's a small quiet town!

As there are not too many lodging options, we have already made some reservations. We have blocked all hotel rooms at the hotel situated next to the wedding location (300 yards walking distance) for April 12, the night of the wedding. The room rate is 100 euros (about 140 dollars). There are about 15 rooms left in this hotel; please notify us as soon as possible if you wish to reserve a room too.

If you are visiting from another part of the Netherlands, we highly recommend that you stay the night as we will be quite far away from the Randstad. If there are enough persons staying in the area, we will arrange for a van to transport persons to their hotels after the wedding.

If you are visiting from the USA, please note we have already arranged for lodging the night prior to the wedding as well as the night of the wedding (April 11 and 12).
On April 11, you will stay at The van der Valk Hotel in Hengelo.

Room rates are about 100 euros (140 dollars). Please take a train to Hengelo station on April 11 and a taxi from the station to the hotel. We will drive all of you in a bus from this hotel to the wedding site on April 12; thus, you need not worry about transportation! The drive is about 1 hour, so you will not come back here after the wedding and we have already booked a room for you in Hotel Avenarius on April 12, next to the wedding location. Therefore, make sure you bring your luggage with you on the bus to the wedding location!
